Fernando Bujones is internationally haled by the public and the press as one of the greatest dancer of the 20th century and as the finest classical male dancer the United States produced.
Fernando Bujones has performed as a Guest Artist in 34 countries and with more than 60 ballet companies around the world including the most prestigious ones like: American Ballet Theatre, The Royal Ballet, The Paris Opera, The Stuttgart Ballet, Ballet di la Scala of Milano, The Royal Danish Ballet, The National Ballet of Canada, The Australian Ballet, Tokyo Ballet, Maurice Bejart Ballet XX Century and many others.
Fernando Bujones has performed for Kings, Queens, Princesses and Presidents around the world. Among some of the most distinguished personalities: President Ronald Reagan, First Lady Nancy Reagan, First Lady Barbara Bush, Princess Diane, HRH Princess Margaret , and many others.
Fernando Bujones has partened the most exquisite ballerinas of the Twentieth Century such as: Dame Margot Fonteyn, Natalia Makarova, Carla Fracci, Cynthia Gregory, Marcia Haydee, Gelsey Kirkland, Yoko Morishita, Antoinette Sibley, Merle Park, Noella Pontois, Birgit Keil, Veronica Tennant, Marianna Tcherkassky, and many others. Bujones' world renowmed partnership with America's Prima Ballerina, Cynthia Gregory was choosen as one of the greatest 20th Century partnerships in America by the Dance Magazine Millenium Issue.
As a principal dancer Fernando Bujones has performed in one of the most extensive classical ballets repertories a male dancer could, and has performed numerous classical and contemporary works from many renown choreographers like: Marius Petipa, Auguste Bournonville, George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, Anthony Tudor, Agnes de Mille, Alvin Ailey, John Cranko, Sir Frederick Ashton, Sir Kenneth McMillan, Maurice Bejart, Roland Petit, Glen Tetley, Twyla Tharp, Rudolf Nureyev and many others.
Many of Fernando Bujones’ performances as a principal dancer have been recorded in videos that are today primarily distributed by Kultur International Videos. In addition Mr. Bujones has been seen nationally through various PBS “Live from Lincoln Center” performances as well as “Dance in America” series.
As an Artistic Director, Fernando Bujones has directed several companies around the world such as Ballet de Monterrey (in Mexico), Ballet Clasico Mediterraneo (in Madrid, Spain). A company he founded in 1995, Ballet Mississippi (in the United States) and is currently the Artistic Director of Orlando Ballet.
As an International Choreographer,.Bujones has choreographed or mounted his own classical productions for many prestigious ballet companies around the world like: American Ballet Theatre, The National Ballet of Canada, Tokyo Ballet, The Turin Opera Ballet (Italy), The National Dance Company of Mexico (Mexico City), The Municipal Theater in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and others.

As an International Guest Teacher, Fernando Bujones has taught for such prestigious ballet companies like: The Paris Opera Ballet, (France), The Norway Opera Ballet (Norway), The Munich Opera Ballet (Germany), The National Flamenco Dance Company of Spain (Spain), The Municipal Theater of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), The National Dance Company of Mexico (Mexico), Boston Ballet and others in addition he has taught in such renown ballet schools like: The National Ballet of Canada, Boston Ballet, Atlanta Ballet, just to name a few.
